How to connect with Natiiv in Israel.
I wanted to take a few moments and share a few updates as I sit at a cafe on Ben Yehuda in Tel Aviv.
Winter Webinar: Registration for the winter session for Social Media Basics for Jewish Communal Professionals is underway. I've just wrapped up the first session and am already halfway through a private session for Synagogues 3000. Please share the registration information with rabbis, JCC staff, Federation staff and other Jewish Communal Professionals in your life. Especially people geared up after the URJ Biennial or the GA in DC.
Writing the Rails: Memphis is coming fast and plans are coming together beautifully. We've got shows lined up in Chicago, Champaign, Charleston, Carbondale and Memphis. Now we are looking for sponsors to help make this an even bigger success!
Amutot Workshops: Tomorrow is the first of two workshops that I'm doing for non-profits in Israel focused on social media for community and fundraising. I believe that registration is still open. I'm speaking in English, even if all of the advertising is in Hebrew.
Personal Lessons: I'm available for one-on-one lessons with people while I'm in Israel and at a greatly reduced price. The two hour lesson is only $100 while I'm here and when I return to Chicago, the $200 rate is going up to $350. Want to arrange a lesson? Please sign up on Eventbrite and we'll find a time that works.
Tweetsgiving: I'm working with the incredible Yael Beeri on the Tel Aviv Tweetsgiving party. All I can tell you is that it is on Wednesday, November 25th. More great news coming soon - but we're also looking for local sponsors.
Jewish Climate Campaign: This project kicked off a couple weeks ago at the U.N. and last week a few members from the team were at Windsor Castle for a meeting of leaders from different world religions to meet on the climate. This group is trying to build a movement of 600,000 Jews from around the world to put a stake in the ground and take responsibility for healing the planet. Become a fan on Facebook, sign the pledge or follow on Twitter. If things work out, I'll be able to see one of the leads, Nigel Savage of Hazon, while we're both in Israel this week.
After helping our umpteenth friend have that “a-ha!” moment when they realized how to harness the social web, we figured we were on to something.
Social Media is structured around discussion, and we’re seasoned experts at helping people join those discussions by also joining communities. Learn more about Natiiv.

Was great meeting you in Tel Aviv! Hope to see you again, maybe even before you go back to the US. I'll try and talk my DH into going to the tweetgiving tweetup.
